Subject: What kind of prematalizing coating can be used in order to have it alkali soluble?

We need help as to what kind of prematalizing coating can be used in order to have it alkali soluble. This seems to be against current technology, but one of our customers is asking for it.

I would suggest to try a nitrocellulose based coating.

I would suggest to try a nitrocellulose based coating. Nitrocellulose (NC) is not resistant against alkali. If the solubility is good and fast enough for the end-use should be checked.
